The Culture

The essence of the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest can not easily be delineated with the written words on these pages. The cultures are rich with traditions that include dance, music, food, ceremony, and many other aspects that need to be seen, heard, tasted, and touched.

The information in this section has been gathered from the research of anthropologists and from the oral history which has been passed down from generation to generation, to recount some of the aspects of our culture.

We continue our oral tradition as our ancestors have for thousands of years, and share with respected guests that which is important to us.
